Sisyphus goes home

Sisyphus Goes Home

Sisyphus was an ancient Greek mythical character who was condemned to roll a rock up a hill whence the rock would simply role back down the hill again. Sisyphus was obliged to repeat this pointless, backbreaking toil for all eternity. If Sisyphus’s strange plight is a metaphor for all our lives (none of us get out of here alive), then it seems that the joke is on us. Even so, some of us might still find it amusing. How could Sisyphus possibly go home, and how is he to find happiness in such a fatally flawed existence?
Handmade, hardbound, section-sewn, archival digital prints, limited-edition book. 15cmsW x 18cmsH, 80p.
